Dr. David Bjork

Dr. Bjork was raised in Berkeley, attended UC Davis as an undergrad, and graduated from Washington State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1969. He worked at Bay Area Pet Hospital in Oakland right after graduation. Dr. Bjork worked with dermatology expert, Dr. George Muller DVM at Muller Veterinary Hospital. After several years at Muller’s, Dr. Bjork and wife, Kim, opened Geary Veterinary Hospital in 1979 in the Palos Verdes Mall in Walnut Creek where it stands to this day.

Dr.B and Kim met at WSU and were married in 1970. They have two children- Erika and Scott, who have worked with their dad on and off through the years. Dr. Bjork is an avid snow and water skier. He and his wife are also Oakland Raider fans and attend their games regularly. Currently living with them are Taz (Lab/Pit Bull), Gaston and MoMo (French Bulldogs).
