Camila Client Services Representative

Camila has been in the veterinary field since 2017. When she lived in Seattle (four years), she worked in veterinary general practice and gained experience in animal emergency as well. She has adored animals since she was a child but her interest peaked when, as an adult, she lost the (animal) love of her life—a Dalmatian/Pit Bull mix named Suave—to a life-threatening stomach condition. These days, Camila has many pets: three cats, Ethereal, Airy, and Scarlet; two dogs named Circus and Valentina; and one angel baby named Suavecito (making her a circus ringleader). Camila considers herself a nerd and a 2000s pop connoisseur. In her free time, she loves to play video games, read lots of books, and collect Manga. In her own words, “My favorite thing about working at Geary is sharing book recommendations with Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Weiss, as well as being able to learn veterinary medicine from everyone here. I have also loved meeting all the wonderful clients and patients that visit! One of the challenging parts of being in the veterinary field is the grief. But I’m healing through the learning I do every day and showing up for other people’s pets. As to my future goals, I hope to one day open my own bookstore/coffee shop somewhere in the mountains. I love coffee!”
